Each role adds a different perspective: investigating mechanisms, explaining complex ideas, understanding customer challenges, and translating those insights into product decisions.
Global marketing and commercial promotion of off-the-shelf T cell manufacturing workflows for CAR T and TCR applications. Partnering with R&D on applications and bringing customer and market insights into positioning and priorities.
Supported clinical cell manufacturing runs and flow cytometry analytics as part of a global team. Hands-on troubleshooting, technical transfer, and international customer and field team training grounded my understanding of manufacturing challenges.
Conducted collaborative research, mentored students, and designed and taught a course on biomedicine in Singapore society.
My PhD in Cancer Biology investigated how cellular redox changes can influence signalling associated with inflammation and carcinogenesis in breast cancer and osteosarcoma.
I chose to pursue a diploma in Molecular Biotechnology for its hands-on, practical approach, then continued with a bachelor’s degree and PhD at NUS. Learning by doing remains central to how I approach new challenges.
Taking on a new role in Germany, I draw on my technical experience and product expertise in product management and marketing.

In clinical cell manufacturing, an instrument or application can put a batch at risk — and behind that batch is a patient waiting for therapy.
I became a technical partner to teams working in GMP manufacturing environments, supporting clinical manufacturing and analytics workflows. My work involved resolving time-critical problems, preventing manufacturing batch failures.
I’ve trained more than 100 clinical specialists and customers, and coached six trainers across Asia and Europe, enabling teams to manufacture therapies confidently and independently.
I’m currently based in Cologne, working as a Global Product Manager in Immunotherapy at Miltenyi Biotec.

The view is broader now: listening to customers and clinical experts, weighing development opportunities, shaping priorities, and helping commercial teams explain the value of what we offer. Underneath it is a simple aim — helping more patients reach therapies that can change their lives.
But I haven’t left the practical questions behind. A strategy has to hold up in the GMP suite as well as in a meeting room. I have done both, and I use that combination to take on the challenge.
For the professional detailThe answer to a customer’s complex problem rarely sits with one person. It’s spread across science, process experience and teams that may not always cross paths.
Genuine curiosity gives me insight I can draw on later. When a challenge arises, I know whose expertise can move it forward, and how to turn an open question into a clear next step.
A customer evaluating a new application needed comparability data, and the discussion had stalled across several teams.
Through everyday conversations, I knew an R&D colleague working on exactly this topic and brought them in. Their experience answered the customer’s questions and gave everyone a clear next step.
Right now, that includes AI.
I’m learning how to use it thoughtfully in my work, especially where scientific insight and product decisions meet. I see it as a force multiplier: something that can help me notice and connect more than I could alone — not a substitute for scientific or commercial judgment. The work is learning where it helps, and knowing when to question it.
